Playing with Paper | January Stories

This is the year I find my way back to telling our story. What feels like forever ago I used to be a regular memory keeper. I could list all the reasons I stopped but in the end everything comes down to you spend time on what you give priority. When time is not given to something it is because it stopped being important.

I’m owning that truth. Having “story” as my one little word this year makes it important again.  My goals are small. One layout using the story prompt from my Ali Edwards Story Kit subscription and a monthly recap using pocket pages and my Stories by the Month kit. Even if I only do these two things that is more than the year before. My intent is not to be prolific, my intent is to give it time and priority.

Completed this simplest of layout as challenged by Ali Edwards in the Joy classroom. Great reminder to use the products as story prompts and that it doesn’t have to be complicated.

Reached back into the stash and used my Read Story Kit for this layout. This is the second appearance of this layout but I went back and beefed up the journaling. I wanted it to be more than just a blurb of journaling. To add in more content I typed it up.
