Documenting Life
The end of 2015 had me pressing pause on photography assignments in hopes of getting "caught up" and to give me space to think about what is my priority. I'm learning not everything can be a priority and there are tradeoffs to the choices we make. Yes, I know, pretty simple. But for someone who tries to do it all this is actually very hard.
One of the things that came out of this space was the truth that personal memory keeping is one of my true priorities and I had devoted zero to little time on this in 2015. A severe misalignment of my actions and what matters most.
So, I decided to go back to 2015 and document the last year. On a whim I reached out to my friends at Big Picture Classes to see if documenting this journey would be a potential blog series and in the end we decided the best format was a year long class and Documenting Life was born with a bit of a tight turnaround for the first lesson.
I am so very excited to announce that today this class is live. You can access it with a free trial at Big Picture Classes. And just to give you a better idea of what January looks like here is my "Saying Hello" video that is live in the classroom. You can find all the details here, Documenting Life.
ps Sorry I'm so blink-ey, apparently being in front of the camera makes me nervous :)
